After a shortened season and months of delays, the Major League Baseball season is back full-strength and Buffalo Wild Wings couldn’t miss the chance to have a kick off party. Living through COVID-19 heavily impacted both sports and casual dining, so we were really excited to see both come to life together again for this event!
On April 6th, first thing on the agenda was a live broadcast by ESPN Radio from our Hedwig location to promote the Astros’ game and the Buffalo Wild Wings Kickoff Party, with a special mention of our Blazin’ Wing Challenge. With the support of Karbach and Budweiser, guests participated in lots of giveaways every 15 minutes to set the mood for the big game that night. We look forward to continuing our Budweiser bucket special throughout April and what it will bring for the experience in our Houston sports bars as we kick off this season and we return to life.
Our Buffalo Wild Wings Hedwig location was full to the brim by 9 o’clock, when the game finally started. We got extremely busy with the guest count at this exciting MLB Season Kickoff. COVID requirements have receded with time so guests were able to enjoy the game without any regulations. Our employees are still required to wear a mask, though; and sanitary measurements such as glass barriers and hand sanitizers are still in place.
There are several team members that Sparked the brightest during this busy night: Ron, Aly, Crystal and Brad, thank you for putting this together on the beverage side. Your support was priceless.
